Good to know

About the two stones

Old jade carries centuries of wear-language on the Plateau — a stone of earth, cut square after the ancient ideal of the land. Garnet, round and deep red, has traveled the opposite road: formed in fire and metamorphic pressure. Square and round, earth and fire — the old cosmology of square earth and round heaven, in one circle.

Caring for jade & garnet

Both stones are durable and made for daily wear. Avoid perfume and chemicals directly on the beads, and keep the gold-plated clasp dry. Wipe with the soft cloth included; store in the pouch. Over years, jade may take on a deeper warmth from your skin — that is the stone learning you.

Sizing & clasp

Three sizes — 18 cm, 20 cm, 22 cm — closed with a gold-plated clasp, no elastic to age. Measure your wrist and add 1–2 cm for a comfortable fit. Each piece is assembled to order; please allow 15–30 days of making time.

Our honest-materials statement

We state everything we know about each piece — class, origin, materials — and admit what we don't. No inflated stories, no invented provenance. If your piece ever disagrees with the listing, return it within 30 days for a full refund, on us.

Eastern Five Elements · 文化渊源

Elemental reading: Earth

Fire begets earth: garnet carries the red of fire, old jade is the earth itself — yellow, the color of earth among the five elements. Square earth and round heaven, one generation cycle worn on the wrist.

Yin · Yang — Square jade is yin — the still earth; round garnet is yang — a spark of fire moving between them. Square earth, round heaven.

“A falling star, reaching the earth, becomes stone.” — Sima Qian, Records of the Grand Historian, c. 91 BC

Jade & Garnet · Square Earth, Round Heaven

Two Stones, One Cosmology

The Square — Old Jade, the Color of Earth

Cut square, in the old ideal of the land: jade that has crossed centuries of wearing culture on the Plateau. Yellow — the color of earth in the five elements — mellow and unhurried, the quiet ground the whole piece stands on.

The Round — Garnet, a Spark of Fire

Round, deep red, formed in fire and pressure deep underground. Between the square beads it moves like embers along a horizon line — the heaven-circle of the old cosmology, drawn in garnet.

Wear It With

Where It Belongs

Everyday — worn alone

Light enough to forget you are wearing it, distinct enough that people ask. The piece that starts conversations about the Third Pole.

Stacked — with gold or earth tones

The amber jade and deep garnet sit naturally beside warm metals, linen and leather. Keep metals in the same temperature range — gold tones — and the stack reads as one deliberate gesture.

Gifting — vermilion box

Arrives in our signature vermilion gift box. A limited run of 30 — uncommon enough to feel chosen, honest enough to wear every day.
