How We Document Every Piece

Two meteorites are never identical. So we run STELLAR BONE on a simple rule: one listing, one specimen.

Every piece is photographed in macro — the same photos you see in the listing are of the exact item you receive, with its natural pattern visible: crystal bands for iron, chondrules and fusion crust for stone. Each piece carries a unique Pattern ID (you will find it in the Specimen Details table), which links the physical object to its archive entry: find context on the Third Pole, classification, weight, dimensions, finish.

We also state what we do not know. Meteorites found inland, without a witnessed fall, carry uncertainty about their terrestrial history; we say so rather than invent romance. If a listing ever disagrees with the specimen, return it within 30 days for a full refund — on us.

No certificates of authenticity are issued, because paper proves nothing; patterns do. That is the trade we want to be part of.
