A star is the sky's fire — and when a star falls to earth, it becomes stone. The iron star is that fire cooled into metal; the garnet-red beads keep its ember, the vivid blue beads keep the night it crossed.

The Star — a fall, cut to five points
An iron meteorite, cut into a five-pointed star and sealed in a gold-plated bezel. Han astronomers wrote that when a star falls to earth it becomes stone — this one became iron, and kept its shape.
The Strand — a night sky in beads
Garnet-red beads like the last ember of a meteor's trail, vivid blue beads like the night it crossed, deep-blue cylinders for the dark between stars — strung with silver spacers to a silver clasp.
